Gathering of Women
Saturday, January 24, 2015
8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Mary of Nazareth: A Dangerous Memory
Speaker: Sister Joellen McCarthy, BVM
Once again St. Raymond’s will be offering our “Gathering of Women.” All women of the parish are invited to join us on January 24 for Mass, breakfast, good company and a wonderful presenter, Sister Joellen McCarthy, BVM. We begin with Mass at 8:00 AM and end at 11:00 AM. Joellen will explore the continuing role of Mary of Nazareth within our Catholic faith community. She will complement this prayerful reflection on Mary by considering the voices of contemporary leaders of communities of women religious. Joellen’s goal for the morning is to nourish our imaginations of how we continue to be faith-filled women in our contemporary world. We will deepen our relationship with Mary of Nazareth and with God’s own Spirit who loves us and calls us further than where we now are. Please plan on joining us – you’ll be glad you did!
