Registration for Religious Education Program

Registration extended through August 9th!

Dear Religious Education Families,

It’s that time of year again! Registration for the 2017-18 Religious Education Program is now open. We ask that all families at this time please complete all the necessary forms to ensure that your students will be registered. Registrations are due by July 31st!  Registrations received August 1st and after will be assessed a $50 late fee.  All registrations received on/after August 1st- students will be placed in a class IF there is room.  Otherwise we will create a waiting list in the hopes we can find more volunteer Catechists.  If we are unable to find Catechists for any remaining grades that need them, those students on the Waiting List will go into Home Study.

Please note:

  • There are two parts to complete your registration:
    • Completing the online registration form.
    • Setting up a payment schedule Smart Tuition.  *Families who do not set up a payment schedule via Smart Tuition (or pay in full by check) by July 31st will be assessed the $50 Late Fee.*
  • Payment on Smart Tuition alone does not count as registration and will not reserve a space in class.

REPARIIDENVELOPEYour tuition will be based on whether you are registered in our parish or not. Registered parishioners have a parish number given to them, either for your church envelopes or other means of noting your monetary donations. If you are receiving Sunday envelopes, this number can be found there (see example).

If you are not sure if you are registered in the parish, please contact our parish office and they can look up the number for you or let you know that you are not registered within the parish (847-253-8600). You will need that number when registering for RE classes.

If you are interested in becoming registered parishioners, we hold Welcoming Sessions the second Sunday each month at 8:30 am at the Parish Ministry Center.  Next scheduled sessions are:  Sunday, April 23, May 21,  and Saturday, June 10.  Sunday Welcoming Session are held at the Parish Ministry Office, Buhrfeind Room, at 8:30 a.m.  Saturday sessions (during summer months)  are held in the Community Room at 4:00 p.m. For more information, please call the Parish Ministry Center at 847-253-8600.

SCRIP Program—Take advantage of the SCRIP program. Make your purchases work for you. Families could earn up to $200+ in Religious Education Tuition Credits. Best part is-you don’t have don’t have to do anything additional, but shop! Contact Roberta Nichols in the finance office for more information.  If you use SCRIP, please let Roberta Nichols know so your Tuition Rebate may be applied.
